Patrick Swayze and Charlie Sheen star in this action drama co-written and directed by John Milius. When a Soviet paratrooper unit lands in Colorado, marking the beginning a full-scale invasion of America, a group of surviving high school students escape into the surrounding forest.

Led by brothers Jed (Swayze) and Matt (Sheen), they begin waging a guerilla war against the occupying army and join forces with crashed Air Force pilot Andrew Tanner (Powers Boothe) in an attempt to liberate their town.
